I started on this process owning and running a small manufacturing business and from there have ventured into commercial property development, consulting on strategic design and implementation and board work.
I have a passion for putting in place strategic level changes that, with execution, lead to high level results for the organisations with which I am involved.
I like to encourage dialogue and create networks among like minded individuals.
I’m continual amazed by the links that pop up between like minded individuals and aim to grow and leverage those links.

Hi Ben, this a great blog – you write well about stuff that I’m interested in. You’re also doing a great job of writing on a regular basis, something I desperately need to improve on.
On the other hand, you should take your theme out the back and shoot it
I have a great screen, good vision, and can still only barely make out some of the text. Of course I normally get your posts in my Google reader, where it doesn’t make any difference.
To gain a few more readers you might also want to consider adding images or the odd embedded video to your posts, even a widget or two in the sidebar if you’re feeling adventurous (eg, a Swicki, from Chch based Eurekster)

The new theme is tried & tested. Greta new look for you.
Garland is a nice 3 column theme as well. It is very useful to have comments in at least 1 sidebar for example

Great new theme. Why on earth the theme author decided to call it “contempt” is beyond me – on the other hand my theme is called “Laila” for no reason that I can ascertain (I added a few tiny extra touches of my own, like the rounded corners that only firefox users can see). I think the font for comments is maybe a little bit small, but the contrast is higher so it’s more readable than the grey theme you had previously.
